ADOPT CELLS & PERFORM SURVEYS

We work with our partners to identify and survey our region’s highest priority NABat cells. Adopting a cell requires putting a bat detector out for at least four nights each year. After the data is collected, we work with our partners to ensure that the data gets appropriately processed and uploaded to NABat. Please be in touch if you are interested in adopting cells and performing surveys.

SHARE EQUIPMENT

Our regional community is ready and willing to share equipment. If you have bat detectors you are willing to share for part of the year, please complete the form to let the Hub coordinator know and they will be in touch about next steps. If you need to borrow bat detectors, sign up on our calendar to reserve them for a given period.

ALLOW SURVEYS TO HAPPEN ON YOUR LAND

Many priority NABat cells fall on private land. If you are a private land owner and are willing to have surveys performed on your land, please take a look at our map to see if your property lies within a priority cell and be in touch. If we do perform surveys on your land, we will be happy to tell you about what bat species we find.
